You don't need crystals to do a full moon ritual but I love how they amplify everything. And so you'll want to read on to see the best ones to use depending on your needs.
I'd also like to remind you to forget the rule book when it comes to crystals, your intuition is everything when it comes to using them - and the full moon too for that matter. People always seem to think that there's some kind of special "magic" in crystals (I mean they are pretty 'magical' when you think about them) and very beautiful. But there is certainly no magic at all to it. Magic infers something external and outside of the self. Something to put belief or faith in that is outside of us. And it couldn't be further from the truth. Crystals are purely universal energy that is available to us all as energetic beings to harness, tap into and sling shot our intentions and desires into. When you understand the truth of who you are and our abilities, then we reclaim all power. What are Crystals?
Crystals are ancient, living energy formed over thousands of years beneath the surface of the Earth. In the simplest of ways, crystals are more than just beautiful stones. Spiritually, they are vibrations in solid form — each one holding a unique frequency, like nature’s tuning forks. Just as music can shift your mood, a crystal’s energy can help shift your energy — gently guiding you back to balance, clarity, and inner peace.

My top 5 are the only crystals you will ever need for a full moon ritual. And don't worry if your fave isn't listed here. Like I said above if you are pulled to your trusty old Rose Quartz, then use that. Honestly your crystals 'choose you' energetically and vibrationally, so if you feel any kind of affinity or pull or something that you can't quite put your finger on but it feels good to you. First up is my go to and the crystal I always recommend for everybody. It's my number one because it can be used to cleanse / clear energy too and so it's a little all rounder and a must have for any crystal collection. But for the Full Moon - This is the ONE! Selenite and here's the top 5!
