AIRPORT LOUNGE ACCESS

We love an airport lounge. Wherever we can we use Priority Pass to get access to airport lounges around the world. Are you a fan of airport lounge too? Good Wifi (important for our remote work), food and drinks for the kids, a beer for dad, calm and quiet areas) takes away a lot of the stress of an airport for us. The cost in most cases for us as a family is cheaper to get lounge access than to not. Use Priority Pass to get airport lounge access worldwide. Priority Pass Members benefit from airport dining, retail and spa discounts.

LUGGAGE STORAGE

We use Radical Storage to book storage of our luggage online at various vendors in more than 500 cities. Which allows us to explore a city or destination without carrying all of our suitcases and bags. For example a stop over for 3 days in Bangkok before flying onto Koh Samui a couple of days later is a lot easier when we store our luggage cheaply and only take what we need to Bangkok. A god send for frequent travellers and is sometimes cheaper for us to store luggage at 5 euros a day than to take with us as hold baggage (especially if we don't need the stuff). As baggage isn't always included in flights and is an add on cost. Their app gives us fast and easy booking.

ESIMS

SIM CARDS + PHONE CHARGES - We first discovered eSIMS in 2023 and it's changed our lives and saved us sooo much money (no exaggeration!). Avoid high roaming bills by using eSIMs (digital SIM cards) wherever you are in the world. We use Airalo's eSIMs where you can download and install a digital data pack for over 200 countries/regions and get connected anywhere in the world as soon as you land. Which helps book taxi's and be connected immediately. They have an easy to use app where you don’t need to waste your time looking for a local plastic SIM card at the airport or out at the shops. The eSIM can be activated either immediately after installation or upon arrival at the traveler’s destination for most of the worlds destinations. We have never looked back since using eSIMS.
