It had been a crazy busy 2 days and nights exploring Bangkok with 1 child and we had booked in The Vertigo Restaurant on the rooftop of our favourite hotel The Banyan Tree. The Banyan Tree Hotel is a renowned landmark in Bangkok and the restaurant gets good reviews.
With these super, super impressive views, we wanted to mark our last night doing something special.

Vertigo rooftop restaurant & Moon Bar, Bangkok
We were guests in the hotel and just wanted ease, from getting ready to heading out. We headed up the the 61st floor feeling all fancy. We had booked early evening so saw the sun setting and the dusk creeping in. Walking in feeling like a total rockstar. It's very very romantic here & I would love to visit as a couple.
We chose the a la carte menu, which was beautiful. Fresh, creative and colourful, like art on a plate. Staff were attentive and non fussy. Wine was topped up without noticing. A lovely discreet service.

a well deserved meal at a rooftop restaurant - Vertigo At The Banyan Tree Bangkok.
Pinky hued skylines and hazy twinkling lights made it look magical. It was lovely to feel very far away from the hustle and bustle below us.
We had a really wonderful fine dining experience. Made all the more better by the stunning views, ambience & best cocktails. I mean how can it not be special with these views.
It wasn't exactly a date night but if it was, the setting would have been perfect. Being so high we got a slight breeze from the hot night air. We saw the sun setting over the city below and if we just looked the other way, it was almost like we were on a date night.
It's recommended that you book in advance to reserve a table. Especially peak times.
And this is one place that comes highly recommended by us. Get dressed up and take your lover by the hand. It's a winner
